Preventing fires from spreading
It is mandatory that larger roof areas be protected against fire spreading, particularly where feed-throughs from the bottom up exist.With roof drains and vents it has become crucial to immediately seal off small holes that would otherwise spread the fire and fumes into the roof’s hollow/ profile space or onto the roof area.
The much-dreaded flash-over of the fire is to be prevented by all means, thereby stopping a small flame from turning into a blaze.
